Avian Responses to Mechanical Stress: Morphology and Bone Structure During Hovering, Migration, and Egg-Laying
Leeann is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the City College of New York where she studies bone at the cellular and tissue level to improve our understanding of age-related bone loss. Currently, she is developing methods in image acquisition, processing, and analysis for work with confocal laser scanning microscopy of fluorescently labelled cells. Ultimately, she plans to work as a scientist in the healthcare industry in Boston. Leeann’s favorite hobbies are camping and hiking, sewing costumes, and programming.
