Skeletal morphology of early Homo sapiens from the Middle Awash study area, Ethiopia

Marianne is a Research Associate at the Berkeley Geochronology Center, studying human and monkey evolution in the Middle Awash study area of Ethiopia and beyond. Her immediate goals include broadening her research program to explore factors underlying skeletal variation in modern humans and to study recently-recovered human fossils from Ethiopia through this lens. In the long-term, she plans to continue her research, teaching, and mentoring as a faculty member.
